stress busters!

Motherhood = STRESS!

Itulah hakikat kehidupan! Reducing stress is of the utmost importance to everyone, but especially mothers. Stres can lead to kemurungan, penyakit jantung and a generally unhealthy mom. (True, been there.) But do you know that stress, if not handled correctly, can hv a -ve impact on your children too? Here I wud like to share some great tips to de-stress!

1. Put yourself in time-out.
Allow yourself some alone time and use it to focus exclusively on you. Do nothing! Sleep, read, watch a movie and just enjoy solitude. After so many years, only now i can have the whole morning to myself sebabnya semua orang gi sekolah! Yahuuuu!

2. Call a friend
Instead of releasing your frustration on your partner or children, pick up the phone dan speak to a close friend. Speaking to a buddy is often de-stressing dan you will find by the end of your phone call, some of your anger wud hv dissipated. But of course, carilah kawan yang boleh dipercayai, bukan yang mulut tempayan, ya.

3. Take a nap
Even a short power nap can leave you feeling refreshed., renewed and more focused. True, kekadang 15, 20 minit pun dah rasa cukup especially bila teramat2 mengantuk. 

4. Play.

As adults, kita selalu lupa the beneficial effect of play. (play here is not 18sx, okay?). Bermain sebenarnya, merangsang imaginasi kita, menggalakkan kreativiti, boost our energy and best of all, is fun! Take up a sport. If you asked me, for outdoor, i wud choose badminton. For indoor, Monopoly is my favourite! Online games is not my cup of tea.
