Be sure your body need for nutrition will be met, even as you reduce your intake. In other words, proceed with caution. Adopt a plan that will meet your desire to be fit next year, not just your desire to look good next week. If you'r going to hide the Gummi Bears, then burn that map to their den!

stress busters!

Motherhood = STRESS!

Itulah hakikat kehidupan! Reducing stress is of the utmost importance to everyone, but especially mothers. Stres can lead to kemurungan, penyakit jantung and a generally unhealthy mom. (True, been there.) But do you know that stress, if not handled correctly, can hv a -ve impact on your children too? Here I wud like to share some great tips to de-stress!

1. Put yourself in time-out.
Allow yourself some alone time and use it to focus exclusively on you. Do nothing! Sleep, read, watch a movie and just enjoy solitude. After so many years, only now i can have the whole morning to myself sebabnya semua orang gi sekolah! Yahuuuu!

2. Call a friend
Instead of releasing your frustration on your partner or children, pick up the phone dan speak to a close friend. Speaking to a buddy is often de-stressing dan you will find by the end of your phone call, some of your anger wud hv dissipated. But of course, carilah kawan yang boleh dipercayai, bukan yang mulut tempayan, ya.

3. Take a nap
Even a short power nap can leave you feeling refreshed., renewed and more focused. True, kekadang 15, 20 minit pun dah rasa cukup especially bila teramat2 mengantuk. 

4. Play.

As adults, kita selalu lupa the beneficial effect of play. (play here is not 18sx, okay?). Bermain sebenarnya, merangsang imaginasi kita, menggalakkan kreativiti, boost our energy and best of all, is fun! Take up a sport. If you asked me, for outdoor, i wud choose badminton. For indoor, Monopoly is my favourite! Online games is not my cup of tea.

safe and sound

masuk hari nie, dah 5 hari aku tak sihat, since monday. Batuk, selesema, badan rasa seram sejuk. namun aku kena gagahkan jugk badan nie utk buat itu dan ini (have to!). Kalau dilayan sangat, satu apa pun tak jadi. Until today, satu ubat pun aku belum telan. Tak ada masa nak ke klinik sebab menguruskan hal rumah tangga and nobody offer to take me to the clinic (apa nak buat... habis madu sepah dibuang).




Today is Friday, jap lagi nak gi fetch Daniel kat Melaka. Kena drive sendiri dlm keadaan tak sihat. Time2 inilah aku rasa macam nak hire a driver ( i wish i could do that!). Hopefully i reach there safe and sound. Doakan aku selamat pergi dan balik. If not, this wud be my last entry....

losing weight the healthy way

Orang yang ada gangguan makan selalunya beri alasan tak nak makan atau terlebih makan. Ramai yang nak kurus, tapi berapa ramai yang kurus dengan cara yang betul? Many opt for the easy way out by ingesting products yang menjanjikan "cepat kurus" (i'm one of the victim!) Some people use extreme method to control their weight such as hardcore dieting, throwing up ( I wud never wanna do that! ) or extreme exercising.


Is this what you really want?!

Come on! Kalau ya pun nak kurus, tak perlulah nak menyeksa diri. Let it slim down naturally with proper diet dan exercise!  Tips for healthy ways are exercise regularly and healthy eating, avoid eating disorder. Or else you wud end up like the above picture.

Before I begin writing and posting entries, here's my introduction. Health is Wealth is my fourth blog after my personal, cooking and my books blog.  The reason I started this blog is to share what I read, my knowledge and my experiences with my readers (if I have any). Here, I would like to express my thanks to my family, Mr. Stan Toler who has gave me an inspiration to write about health, Pn. Sharifah Hanim the aerobic instructor and my avid readers from my other blogs.

This blog is all about health and I'll share with you guys as much as possible because sharing is caring.
